Privacy Policy

The short version

All tools on DevCodivo run entirely in your browser. Whatever you paste or upload (JSON, CSV, text, anything) is processed locally and is never transmitted to our servers or stored by us.

Two things do reach the server: anonymous page-view counts, and anything you deliberately type into the contact form. Both are described below.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect, store, or log tool inputs or outputs.
• We do not require accounts, sign-ups, or personal information.
• We do not sell or share data.
• We do not use third-party APIs for tool functionality.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

What this site does technically

The pages and application code are downloaded from our web server so your browser can run the tools, and that is the only network traffic involved in tool use. Like most websites, the hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, request time, user agent) for security and operational purposes.

Page-view counting

We count page views ourselves, on this server. There is no analytics script, no third-party analytics provider, and no tracking cookie. For each page request we record the page path, the referring site’s hostname, a two-letter country code if the network provides one, and a value derived from your IP address.

That value is a one-way hash that also includes the current date, so it changes every day and cannot be reversed to your IP address or used to recognise you across days. It exists only to count distinct visitors per day. Automated traffic (search engine crawlers and similar bots) is not counted.

The contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form, we store what you write (your name, your email address, the subject and the message) on this server so we can read and reply to it. We also store a daily-rotating hash of your IP address and your browser’s user agent at the time of sending, which we use only to limit spam and abuse. Messages are visible only to the site operator and are never sold or shared.

To have a message you sent deleted, email us at the address below.

Cookies

There are no cookies for ordinary visitors. The only cookie this site ever sets belongs to the private admin area: signing in stores a session cookie so the operator is not asked for the password on every page. It is marked HttpOnly, is not readable by scripts, and expires after 12 hours.

Your theme preference (light/dark) is kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and contains nothing personal.
